New Org does not show in Account Master- unable to create account

Description of Issue

User created a new Org code in Chart of Account Segments, but can not see it in Account Master on the Org dropdown choices.

Cause

This new Org code does not have any accounts attached to it yet, so it will not show in the Org dropdown choices until after it has at least one account record.



Resolution

  • The Org code will need to be keyed in the first time it is used in Account Master when adding an account rather than using the Org dropdown options.

  • After at least one account with the Org exists, the Org will appear in the dropdown options.
