How to create a Role for the Diagnostic Utility and Run Time Information program

How to create a role that limits a user to System Administration > General Administration > Diagnostic Utility and Run-Time Information?

New to functionality 



Resolution

System Administration > Security > Role

  1. Click Add

  2. Key in the Role Key and Description information

  3. Set Menu Access to Munis Main Menu

  4. Click Menu Security 

  5. Click Edit (located under the Role Data Access option)

  6. Click De-Select All (bottom of the page)

  7. Click Accept

  8. Highlight System Administration 

  9. Click Forward

  10. Highlight General Administration

  11. Click Forward

  12. Click Edit

  13. Select Diagnostic Utility and Run-Time Information

  14. Click Accept

This Role will now provide access to the Diagnostic Utility and Run-Time Information program.

If the end user needs access for to this program to complete the Run Trace option, end users will also need the following permissions:

  1. Click Module View

  2. Click Munis System

  3. Click Add

  4. Click Accept

  5. Click Update

  6. De-select all permissions except for Allowed to view system detail 

  7. Click Accept
