Updating a Subclass Code does not update existing capital asset with the changes that were made 

• Existing Assets will either need to be updated manually or with a transaction 

  • Updates to the Subclass Code that affect Depreciation will need to be updated with an Adjustment Transaction

  • Updates to the SubClass Code that affect General Ledger Accounts or Location will need to be updated with a Change Asset Codes/Accounts Transaction 

  • All other updates can be done manually from the Adjustments and Retirements program
