Description of Issue

How do I run the Upgrade Prep Utility



Context

  • Munis

  • Upgrade

  • Deployment Tasks

  • Upgrade Preparation Utility

Cause

The Upgrade Prep Utility prepares the current Live Database for your upgrade



Resolution

  1. Click on Munis Upgrade Prep Utility from Munis > System Administration > General Administration

    1. Click Define

    2. Select the Version you are upgrading to in the Upgrade target version drop down menu

    3. Click Accept

    4. Complete all Upgrade preparation tasks

      1. Click on an upgrade Preparation task

      2. Click Execute Task and follow on-screen instructions (instructions will vary from task to task)

    5. Check for DIA conditions

      1. Click Execute DIA

      2. Click the + icon to for all data conditions

      3. Click Ok

      4. Scroll through the list and resolve any DIA that are red

      5. Once all DIA conditions are green, Munis is ready to be upgraded to the version selected above
