After releasing a journal the status remains as Held

Resolution

The work ticket MUN-390781 is currently open with Development to address this issue.

This issue is specific to Accounting Entries, the programs below should be used to release entries while the work ticket is outstanding.

  • Journal Source (GEN, GNI or GCR)

    • Browse Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry/History > General Ledger Entry/Proof

  • Journal Source (GEL)

    1. Browse Munis > Financials > General Ledger Menu > Journal Entry/History > Encumbrance Journal Entry/Proof

  • Journal Source (BUA)

    1. Browse Munis > Financials > Budget Processing > Budget Transfer and Amendments



Additional Information

When GL settings default journal status is set to None-Workflow proof transactions will be in held status until released.  If this issue happens in Accounting Entries simply use the alternate program to release the journal into workflow.
