Can a Scanner be used that is not listed on the TCM Supported Scanner Reference Sheet

Description of Issue

Looking to obtain information on whether or not a scanner that is not listed on the TCM Supported Scanner Reference Sheet will work successfully within TCM.

Cause
  • We already have a working scanner, but it is not listed on the TCM Supported Scanner Reference Sheet.
  • We would like to purchase a scanner that is not listed on the TCM Supported Scanner Reference Sheet.
Resolution

Tyler has certified the scanners on the TCM Supported Scanner Reference Sheet to be used successfully with TCM and we do recommend purchasing a scanner from that list directly as those are fully supported. 

We cannot guarantee other scanners' compatibility, however most TWAIN compatible scanners will work successfully with TCM.
