Project strings are being created with an Active status when they are created through the copy project option - Project Master

After copying a project where there were strings in a Hold status the newly generated strings are created in an Active status

When creating new strings through copy project all new strings are being generated in an Active status 

Work ticket MUN-423987 is open with development to address the issue

As a work around with appropriate permissions you can manually update the status of the project strings manually through Project Master
