Exclude Automatic Lunch Deductions





Description of Issue

Can an employee's automatic lunch deduction be excluded?



Context

  • ExecuTime

  • Auto Deduction



Cause

The supervisors Security & Permission role was not configured to allow the auto deduction exclusions.



Resolution

To allow the option to exclude auto deductions:

  1. Select System Admin

  2. Select Security & Permissions

  3. Select the pencil for the appropriate role

  4. Select the Other tab

  5. Check the box to "Allow access to Exclude Auto Deduction"

  6. Select Save for the Other and the Notification tab

To exclude the deduction on the timecard:

  1. Select Supervisor Actions

  2. Select Employee Time Maintenance

  3. ​​​​​​​Select the pencil next to the appropriate entry

  4. Check the box to Exclude the Auto Deduction

  5. Select Save
