Update setting for maximum budget level

4 is the highest budget level the site has used and another level needs to be added.

Budget level numbers and descriptions can be updated in General Ledger Settings.

Financials> Set Up/Chart of Accounts> General Ledger Settings

  • In Munis version 11.3, budget levels are under the General tab in General Ledger Settings.

  • In Munis versions 2018.1 and up, budget levels are under the Budget Settings tab in General Ledger Settings.

  1. Click Update

  2. Select Add or Delete and update levels and labels as needed.

  3. Update user permissions for max budget level in the User Attributes program in the Budget module if needed.
