Additional Information

There is difference in lifecycle support for each of the versions so it is important to know which is a best fit for how the product is utilized.
Any 20xx.1 release is considered the base release and is the longest supported version for that year. Bug fixes are supported and released back to this base version.
The sequential 20xx.2 or .3 etc. release versions contain features and enhancements that are not released backwards to the .1 base version. Those who like to stay current with the latest in available updated features and enhancements should be updating regularly to consume those quarterly releases and this is why they have a shorter supported lifecycle.
