How Does Daylight Savings Work In ExecuTime
Does ExecuTime require manual intervention during Daylight Savings?

Timekeeping
ExecuTime will only give the employee the hours based on what they worked.Â
In the fall when DST is ending, 1:00 AM happens twice, once before 2:00 AM and then again when the clocks roll back immediately at 2:00 AM. The clocks on all computers change from 2:00 AM back to 1:00 AM. Because of this the application has no way to tell if the employee clocked out at the first 1:00 AM, or if they clocked out at the second 1:00 AM. The system is going to assume the second 1:00 AM which is the cause of the second hour that gets added to the timecard.
The computer/logic for ExecuTime cannot programmatically tell the difference between the first 01:00 vs the 2nd 01:00.
If the employee clocked out at the first 1:00am, then a manual correction will be necessary to adjust it.Â
This will be the same logic for the spring forward.
