Subtract from Base option on Pay Master

• Set up leave pay to subtract hours from base pay

• Need to have accrual hours subtract from regular pay in the payroll

• Munis

• Payroll

• Pay Master

• Accruals

If check Subtract from Base on Pay Master, the hours entered for that pay type will subtract from the base pay hours in the payroll

• This option is most commonly used for accrual pay types.  For instance for vacation pay types or sick pay types.

• The hours will only subtract from the base pay in the payroll.
