Adding Comment After Approval Does Not Reset Approval Icon But Entry Fails To Populate Export When Using Payroll Processing Flag



Description of Issue

If a comment is added to an entry via Supervisor Actions > Employee Time Maintenance or Time Approvals after approval, that entry will fail to populate the export when using the, Only export records with all required workflow approval initials option, even though the approval icon on the entry remained green.

Resolution

In order to allow entries to be exported to payroll:

If comments are being added after the timecard has been approved, a workaround would be to turn off the flag, Only export records with all required workflow approval initials.

  1. Login with admin rights

  2. Navigate to System Admin

  3. Select UI Environment Flags

  4. Select Time Processing

  5. Uncheck Only export records with all required workflow approval initials

  6. Click Save
