Receiving an error when trying to add an out of stock item to a work order

This inventory item quantity on hand is insufficient. Please choose another item.

Cause

Department setting for Exceed QOH inventory was unchecked



Resolution

Within the Department Settings (Asset Maintenance>Setup Center>Department Settings), check the box for Exceed QOH inventory
