Show Only Active Records in Master File Management for Employees





Description of Issue

When choosing the Active Only option in Employees, all employees still display - both those marked Inactive and Active.

Cause

Status Code configuration has all codes marked as active.



Resolution
  1. Go to System Admin > Master File Management > Status Codes

  2. Find the code that should not be active and click the Pencil to edit

  3. Uncheck the Active User box

  4. Click Save

  5. Repeat steps for each code that should not be displayed in the Active Only inquiries.

Once all the codes have been updated, return to Employees to verify the correct codes display.



Additional Information

The Active User checkbox allows for users to define which employees should display as Active employees versus the non-active to give additional control over who displays.
