Final Proof and Detail Proof reports are not opening in PDF

The Final Proof and Detail Proof reports will not open in PDF. When we click on PDF or Display, no report is created. We cannot continue with Payroll unless we save/spool the report. How can we see the PDF report? Other reports open in PDF, but not the Final/Detail Proof reports.

The Proof Reports had a Report Sequence set that utilized the Location value. In the Payroll Earnings and Deductions program, the Summary tab did not have a value populated on the Location field. The Payroll Control Setting, 'Use Check Location for Payroll Location' was set to Y-Yes instead of N-No. The employees did not have a Check Location populated in the Employee Master, so no value was being pulled into the payroll, which was preventing the report from being created with the required location values.

1. Go to the Payroll Control Settings program (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Payroll Control Settings)

2. Search for the control setting labeled Use Check Location for Payroll Location

3. Click Update

4. Select the Value Field Help button and change the value from Y to N

5. Click Accept

6. Return to the Payroll and confirm that the Location value is now populated

7. Continue processing the proof reports
