Time Entry Activity code - Employee has zero rate





Description of Issue

Employees are showing in Pending Time Entry with a zero (0.00) dollar rate if they used a Time Entry Activity code.

Cause

The employee's did not have a department code defined in the Employee Master program. 



Resolution
  1. Navigate to the Employee Master (Human Capital Management>Payroll>Employee Master )

  2. Search for the employee number of the employee that had a zero rate

  3. Click Update

  4. Either TAB to the Department field or click the field help button for the Department field

  5. Select the Department Code from the list 

  6. Click Accept to save the record
