Updating Manual Allocations in Earnings and Deductions program - Cannot adjust the Amount and Hours fields

Need to be able to adjust Manual Allocations in the Earnings and Deductions program, but we can only change the Percent field. We cannot adjust the Amount and Hours fields.

System is functioning as designed. The Manual Allocations program detects a method of entry and once that method is used, you cannot switch methods to make adjustments without deleting the allocation and adding it back in manually. 

Existing allocations can be manually changed in Earnings and Deductions in the payroll, you can utilize the Manual Allocations program.

If you are frequently making changes to the allocations because the employees report time for a variety of GL accounts, updates need to be made in the payroll not within Time Entry.

• When an allocation is pulled into Manual Allocation, the system does not store the entry method to reflect the Amount, Hours, or Percent.

• The entry method is set when the the Amount, Hours, or Percent value are saved for an allocation in the Manual Allocation program. The saved entry method will be used for future entry.

• The expectation is that once the method is set, the system is going to remain using that method of entry for the manual allocation going forward.
