Payroll not showing as completed



Description of Issue

We have payroll not showing as completed when browse the list of payrolls in the Payroll Start and Status screen



Context
  • Enterprise ERP

  • Payroll Processing

  • Payroll Start and Status



Cause

Site started a payroll, but has not completed all the Processing Steps



Resolution
  1. Search for the payroll on the Payroll Start and Status screen (Payroll > Payroll Processing > Payroll Start and Status)

  2. Click Change.  Any steps that have not been completed will be highlighted with green triangle.

  3. If the payroll needs to be completed, either complete the highlighted step(s).  Or, click Update, and uncheck the Required box for that step (or steps).



Additional Information
  • If the payroll was started in error and should not be processed, and the Employee Update step has not been completed, then you may delete the payroll.   If deleting a Void payroll, then delete the records in the Earnings and Deductions screen before deleting the payroll.
