Description of Issue

Comp Time not splitting off excess reg time



Context

Cause

Configuration of Overtime Policy was not set to the correct group of employees and the Schedule Override Type was not valid.



Resolution

  1. Go to System Admin > Master File Management > Employees.

  2. Edit the employee and go to Pay Properties so you can note the information for the employee that is not properly calculating.

  3. Go to System Admin > Policies & Rules Engine > Overtime Policy and locate the policy (or policies) that apply to the employee

    1. If more than one policy exists for the employee, one must be removed

  4. Edit the policy and verify the settings are accurate

    1. Schedule Override Type should be None for employees not using a schedule

    2. Policy Applies To should be applied to the employee according to information gathered in Step 2
