Import Terminated employee

We need to reactivate a group of terminated employees. Can we use an import to bring them back from the Terminated Employee Master to the regular Employee Master?

The system is functioning as designed.

This system will not allow this. Instead you would need to manually reactivate the employees so that the system properly moves data from the Terminated Employee Master to the live Employee Master.

Use of the Employee Import does not work because the system will recognize that the employee number and SSN already exist in the terminated data and will stop the process. Two messages will display on the proof report, No Imported lined will process successfully and Employee exists in Terminated data. Unable to continue.
