How to deactivate users from the CM Full Client
Description of Issue
When removing or deactivating a user from Munis, the user ID remains in the CM Full Client and is still listed as active.Â
Context
- Munis
- CMÂ
- Content Manager
- Content Manager CoreÂ
- CM Full ClientÂ
Cause
When a user is removed or deactivated from Munis, or other products that integrate with CM, the user ID will not automatically deactivate in the CM Full Client.Â
Resolution
The user ID(s) will need to be manually deactivated in the CM Full Client.Â
- Log into the CM Full Client with administrative rights. If you are not familiar with how to access the CM Full Client, please refer to How to Access and Launch the TCM Full Client.
- Navigate to the Administration tab > Security Manager.
- Under Users, find and double-click on the user ID that needs to be deactivated.
- Uncheck the box next to Active.
- Click OK.Â
- The user ID is now inactive in the CM Full Client. You can also verify this by clicking on the Show Inactive Users in the upper right hand corner of the ribbon when looking at the Users list, and searching on the user ID to verify that the check box next to Active is unchecked.Â
