Description of Issue

User is receiving an Only periods between XXXX/XX and XXXX/XX are allowed error message when attempting to perform a POCO

Context

Cause

User does not have the required permissions.

Resolution

  • Update the General Ledger role permissions for the user so that the Allow transactions in periods prior to the default and Allow transactions in periods beyond the default permissions are set to allow for the inclusion of the Year/Period that is resulting in the error.

  • An alternative option would be to provide the user with the Override accounting period General Ledger permission.

The Default Year/Period is located in General Ledger Settings.
