Payroll Register does not match Employee Accumulators

Description of Issue

While reconciling 941 Quarterly Reports, the Payroll Register was run for the Quarter. The total Gross and Withholdings for FIT, FICA, and Medicare do not match the Quarter totals from Accumulator Reports.

Cause

Include Active Employees Only was checked when defining the report. 

Resolution

Redefine the report to include all employees.

  1. Navigate to Payroll>Payroll Reports>End of Period Reports>Payroll Register.

  2. Click Define.

  3. Uncheck box for Include Active Employees Only.

  4. Define any additional parameters needed.

  5. Click Accept.

  6. Click PDF.

Additional Information

Payroll Register pulls from Accumulators. If Include Active Employees Only is checked, it will not include employees that are not currently Active in Employee Master.Â
