Approve Own Time Off or Hours Request Security not Saving

Description of Issue

Attempting to allow an employee to have the access to Approve their own Time Off and Hours Request, but when saving to Current, Next Pay Period, or History, the save does not stay.

Cause

Resolution

As a workaround, when attempting to change the 'Approve Own Time Off or Hours Requests' also change 'Approve Own Timecard above Employee level' and save. Then after saving change 'Approve Own Timecard above Employee level' back to it's original value. This will allow the application to recognize that a change has happened and save the value successfully.

  1. Navigate to System Admin

  2. Select Master File Management

  3. Click the pencil icon for the employee in question

  4. Select Security tab

  5. Check the box for Approve Own Time Off or Hours Requests

  6. Check the box for Approve Own Timecard above Employee level 

  7. Click Save For Current Pay Period

  8. Click on the pencil icon once more

  9. Select Security Tab

  10. Uncheck Approve Own Timecard above Employee level 

  11. Click Save For Current Pay Period
