Inquiry Only access to Employee Job Salary

Description of Issue

How can users be given Inquiry Only access to Employee Job/Salary?

Context
  • Enterprise ERP Payroll

  • Employee Job/Salary

  • Roles

Cause

Prevent users from updating, deleting, or adding Employee Job/Salary records.

Resolution
  1. Access Roles: System Administration > Security > Roles

  2. Search on the Role linked to the given user

  3. Click on the HR Management/Payroll folder and click Update

  4. Select the Category Access tab and select Inquiry Only, or Hide SSN (Inquiry) for each column aligned with the row labeled EMPLOYEE PAY

  5. Click Accept

Additional Information

Superuser status will override the Category Access definitions.
