Unable To Use Type Drop Down Under Employee Time Maintenance

When editing a user's time entry, we are unable to make pay code changes for time clock generated entries. The Type is present but grayed out.

• Employee Time Maintenance 

• Time Entry 

• Pay Code 

The Pay Code in question was not set for, Allow for Clock in/out transaction, meaning it was being used as a duration code and those codes cannot be edited. 

Set the Pay Code to Allow for Clock in/out transaction

1. Select System Admin 

2. Select Master File Management 

3. Select Pay Codes 

4. Select the pencil next to the Pay Code in question

5. Check the box for Allow for Clock in/out transaction 

6. Select Save
