Need worksites on Multiple Worksite Report BLS3020 to match the User Defined Fields codes used with obsolete OH Activity Report

Description of Issue
  • How do we get the worksites on the Multiple Worksite Report to match the User Defined Fields codes that we used to use in the OH Activity Report?

  • The BLS report sums by Lcation or Work Location instead of User Defined Fields.

Context
  • Payroll

  • Ohio

  • OH Activity Report

  • Multiple Worksite Report (BLS3020)

Cause

Resolution

You can choose to pull MWR Worksite directly from the Location field in the Employee Master, directly from the Check Location field in the Employee Master, or from a custom value you define in a Crosswalk based on either the EERP Location, or the EERP Check Location.

To create a Crosswalk:

  1. Determine which set of EERP codes most closely aligns with your MWR Worksites.

    1. You can review EERP codes for the Location field in Employee Master using the Location Codes program.

    2. You can review EERP codes for the Check Location field in Employee Master using the Work Location Codes program.

  2. Once you've determined which set of codes will work best, open the Multiple Worksite Report (BLS3020) program.

  3. Select Crosswalk

  4. Select Add.

  5. Select MWL - Multiple Worksite Report Location from the Crosswalk Type drop-down.

  6. In the Munis Value field, enter the EERP code you want to Crosswalk, based on the code set you decided on in Step 1.

  7. In the Crosswalk Value field, enter the Worksite code you want to see on the Multiple Worksite Report.

    1. EXAMPLE: Let's say you are using the Location field in Employee Master and that value is ADMN.  You need employees with an ADMN Location to report under Worksite and you need the employee to report under Worksite 030.  In this scenario, you would enter ADMN in the Munis Value field and 030 in the Crosswalk Value field.

  8. Select Accept

  9. Repeat steps 2 through 6 for each EERP code.

  10. Select Back to return to the Multiple Worksite Report (BLS3030) screen.

When you run the report, you'll want to make sure the Location field on the Multiple Worksite Report (BLS3030) screen is defined with either the Crosswalk Primary or Crosswalk Work option, depending on which field in the Employee Master you created the Crosswalk for.
