Default timesheet to hide detail breakdown

Description of Issue

When supervisors are looking at employee time maintenance, the daily details default as expanded. Client is looking for a way to hide the details instead of being expanded.

Cause

There are two ways to hide the Expanded Details on a time sheet, one is through preferences which is user based and the other through UI environment flags which is system wide

Resolution

To set it for the user

  1. Login to Time & Attendance

  2. Click Preferences

  3. Click the drop down for  Default Time Card and select Condensed

To change it for the entire application

  1. Login to Time & Attendance with Admin access

  2. Click System Admin

  3. Click UI environment Flags

  4. Scroll to General Display Settings

  5. Click drop down for Default Time Card View and select Condensed

  6. Click Save
