How to create W-2Cs for HSA deductions



Description of Issue

We found none of our HSA deductions were on our W-2s and now need to create W-2Cs.

Cause

HSA deductions were not defined in the Cafeteria Plan box when creating W-2s

Resolution
  1. Go to Create W-2C Records. (Payroll>W-2 and 1099-R Processing>W-2C Processing>Create W-2C Records)
  2. Click Define. Define applicable year (Example, 2019). Click Accept. 
  3. Click Define. Define HSA deduction ranges in the Cafeteria Plan box. Click Accept. Click Create.
