How to get employee W-2s in Sent email folder



Description of Issue

In previous years when the W-2s are sent I have a copy of them all in my Sent email folder, why do I not have a copy of them this year?

Cause

The From address for W-2 emails was not defined with the user's email address in the Tyler Forms Year End settings. 

Resolution

When defining the Tyler Forms Year End Settings (for Adobe, DocOrigin or ReadyForms) define the From email for W-2s with the User's email address.

In order for the W-2s to be in the User's Sent email, the setting will need to be adjusted and the W-2s will need to be reprinted. 

After the Year End Settings have been adjusted in the MIU:

  1. Go to W-2 Forms Print. (Payroll>W-2 and 1099-R Processing>W-2 Forms Print)
  2. Define the year. Click Accept. 
  3. Define applicable information to print all Employee W-2s. Click Accept. Print as you typically would. 

*Note - Printing the W-2s again will send employees another email and will create another TCM image if site has Tyler Content Manager
