User Defined Fields

Cause

Multiple User Defined Fields with the same Name

Resolution

To resolve, the Name field on the duplicates must be updated.

Financials > General Ledger Menu > Miscellaneous Setup > User Defined Fields

  1. Search (leave fields blank)
  2. Accept (pull all existing User Defined Fields in)
  3. Select the duplicate field where the Name is the same
  4. Update
  5. Change the Name field to something unique
  6. Accept
