With Secondary Balancing- An Invalid number of DTDF records exist for fund xxx segment xxx object

When trying to release entry where one fund has Secondary balancing getting an error  Invalid number of DTDF records exist for fund XXXX segment XXXX object:

• Secondary Balancing
• DT/DF Relationships
• Due To/Due From Setup
• General Journal Entry/Proof

This error occurs when for the Object code set as the Due to/Due from Object for the Secondary balancing fund when there is more than one account with the same secondary balancing segment.

• If the duplicate account does not have transaction posted to it can be deleted to stop generating the error. 
• The correction, if the account can not be deleted, would be to change one of the account segments or merge the two accounts.  For example, you could either change the duplicated Balancing Segment or change the Object code.
• Changing an Account From One Object Code to Another
