Resolution

When the Age Effective Year Type is set to Calendar, the system will evaluate the employee's birthdate as of the defined Month and Day in the current Calendar year.

Example, Age Effective Month is set to 7 and Age Effective Day is set to 1. Employee's birthday is 2/3/56 and the current year is 2024. Since the employee's birthday is before 7/1/24, the employee will be 68 years old, so any payroll after 2/3/56 will use the age of 68 to calculate the rate. An employee with a birthday of 11/20/87, however, would be 36 as of 7/1/24, so the system will use age 36 until 7/1/25.
