The From value in this row is not within the expected values 1000-9999 for this processing code

When entering new code under the Processing Code 2 Exceptions list for a deduction, user receives following error:

The 'From' value in this row is not within the expected values [1000-9999] for this processing code.

• Enterprise ERP

• Payroll 

• Deduction and Benefit Master

• Exceptions

A pay code is included in the deduction list (Processing Code 2) of exceptions.

1. From within Deduction and Benefit Master (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Deduction and Benefit Master).

2. Search for the deduction code. Click Accept. 

3. Click Exceptions in the toolbar. 

4. Navigate to Processing Code 2 list.

5. Click Update and remove the deduction from the pay type range. Click Accept.
