Configuring the F5 VPN Client on an Android Device

Description of Issue

Needs to access the F5 VPN Client on an Android device to access Munis/Enterprise ERP

Cause

It is not possible to install the F5 VPN Client from https://secure.tylertech.com/ using an Android device. An application must be downloaded from the Google Play Store. 

Resolution
  1. Open the Google Play Store app

  2. At the top of the screen, search for: f5 access

  3. Select Install for the F5 Access app

  4. Once installed, select Open

  5. Select Configure Server

  6. Set Configuration Name: Munis

  7. Set Server URL

    1. For datacenter: secure.tylertech.com

    2. For AWS: 2secure.tylerhost.net

  8. Select Next

  9. Select ✔ at the top right of the screen. 

  10. Select Connect

  11. Select Allow on the pop-up

  12. Select Activate

  13. Enter your Tyler Host or Datacenter credentials

    1. Note: You do not need to have datacenter\ or tylerhost\ in front of your username

  14. Select Login

  15. Select Cancel if you are asked to save credentials

  16. Select Allow on the pop-up

  17. Select OK on the Connection Request pop-up

  18. The Munis VPN connection will say Connected

  19. Navigate to Munis to confirm you can connect

Additional Information

Uninstall

  1. Navigate to the F5 Access app

  2. Select at the top left of the screen

  3. Select Uninstall

  4. Select Uninstall again

  5. Select OK on the pop-up

Tablet and mobile phone access is not officially supported. Some features may not function.
