Project Master - Major Project Fiscal Range does not match Project Fiscal Range

Why does the Project Fiscal Range not match the Fiscal range of the Major Project?

Project Fiscal date was modified while copying a project with a Major Project defined.

Work ticket MUN-466389 is open with development to prevent the Project Fiscal Range from being updated while copying a project with a Major Project defined. 

When a major project is assigned manually it will require that the fiscal range of the target project matches the Major Project. 

If this scenario is encountered, the Project Fiscal Range can be changed on the new project as long as no transactions have been posted or the Major Project can be removed.
