YTD Budget report does not subtotal by Account Type

Description of Issue

I need a monthly report that sub totals by Account Type and then Organization Code



Context

MUNIS reporting

Cubes reporting



Cause

The site would like to change the subtotal/sequence in Report Options to include Account Type, which is not an existing sequence option



Resolution

  • An alternative to the reports available in MUNIS when certain report options do meet specific needs is to use the Cube Reporting function.

  • Cubes reporting allows sites the flexibility to create reports based on various pivot table options and pulls directly from the cube server.



Additional Information

  • Cubes is available to all sites who own MUNIS.

  • Cubes can be shared among other users at the site and refreshed daily using an individuals role permissions.

  • Cubes refresh nightly based on a scheduled job on the server, so as to keep the reporting up to date

  • There are a number of cubes available for various modules, including:

    • General Ledger

    • Accounts Receivable

    • Business License

    • Fixed Assets

    • Inventory

    • Payroll HR

    • Permit and Code Enforcement

    • Project Accounting

    • Property Tax

    • Purchasing AP

    • Utility Billing

    • Work Order
