Schedule Automatic Updates in Tyler Deploy

Description of Issue

A site would like certain Tyler programs to update automatically.

Context
  • Tyler Deploy

  • Munis ERP

Cause

Automatic updates can be scheduled and managed in Tyler Deploy.

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Tyler Deploy

  2. Select Automatic Updates from the navigation bar on the left

  3. Click the Create new schedule button

    1. Note: This button is at the bottom of the page and may be pushed down if a site has many schedules

  4. In the Create Schedule box that appears, fill out the fields according to preference

  5. Click Save

  6. A new Schedule has been created which is now visible in the Automatic Updates menu

    1. Automatic Updates can be edited with the pencil icon or deleted with the trash bin icon

Additional Information
  • Updates to Munis will boot users out of the system - schedule updates when users will not be in the system

  • The completion status of automatic updates is visible on the Tyler Deploy home page under History
