Server error in MSS Application



Description of Issue

When we go to our ESS URL we receive an error stating "Server Error in '/MSS' Application." "Runtime Error" how do we resolve?

Cause

Stopped GAS Service



Resolution
  • To correct this, you'll need to have access to the Munis Application Server

  • If you are hosted by Tyler, please reach out to the TSM SaaS Support

  • If you are hosted OnPremise, please review the below steps

  1. Navigate to the MIU

  2. Launch the environment impacted by the issue (Live, Test, Train)

  3. In the toolbar, select Utilities

  4. Select the option Restart GAS App Pools

    1. Note: This process will end any session to the specific environment, you will want to confirm all users are out of the system and no critical process is being run in Munis
