Reset Pays option in Employee Job Salary



Description of Issue

I have run reset pays but it is not functioning as nothing changes.

Cause

Encumbered option set to No on the Cycles/Other tab in in Employee Job Salary



Resolution

Reset Pays function will give the user the option to reset the number of remaining pay periods equal to the number of annual pay periods for each employee within the active find set.  After changing the Encumbered option to Yes on the Cycles/Other tab in Employee Job Salary, run Reset Pays.

  1. Search for the records in Employee Job Salary (Payroll > Employee Maintenance > Employee Job Salary)

  2. Click Reset Pays

  3. Select Yes to prompt This will reset the number of remaining pay periods to the number of annual pay periods for each employee in the active set. Continue reset?



Additional Information

In Employee Job Salary, can update the Encumbered field manually, or through an Employee Import Utilizing Flexible Imports and Exports
