Description of Issue
One employee shows Error Level 256 in Earnings and Deductions, FIT deduction detail. Earnings and Deductions Proof Error Report shows S - Tax Table Missing

Cause
Tax Table had a gap of $50 between two brackets, where the employee's annualized pay calculated within
Resolution
Ensure there are no gaps between brackets on the Tax Table
- Access Payroll > Payroll Setup >Tax Tables (Search for State Code and Marital Status)
- Navigate to the applicable most recent effective dated table.
- Click on Tax Table on menu
- Click on Update
- TAB to row with incorrect Over or But Not Over amount and correct.
- Click Accept. Click Return to close out of Tax Tables.
- Open Payroll Start & Status (Payroll>Payroll Processing>Payroll Start and Status)
- Search for payroll. Click Accept, click Change in the toolbar. Click Earnings and Deductions.
- Search for the employee. Click on Withholding tab and click line for deduction. Click Accept.
- Delete deduction from employee in payroll
- Click Add and add the deduction back to the employee
