How to create a new Payroll Run Type and Run Control record for Payroll Processing

How do I create a new Payroll Run Type Code and then create the Run Control record for payroll processing?

• Miscellaneous Codes
• Payroll Control Settings
• Run Control

1. Go to Miscellaneous Codes (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Miscellaneous Codes)
2. Click on the Code for RUNC-Payroll Run Control Codes. Click Accept. 
3. Click Add. Define the Code and Descriptions. Click Accept.  
   1. The code is either Numerical or Alphabetical. Creating Payroll Run Control Codes with Letters
4. Go to Payroll Control Settings (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Payroll Control Settings)
5. Click Accept. Click Run Control in the toolbar.
6. Click Add. Define the Code just created. 
7. Define all applicable Processing Options and Processing Jobs. Click Accept.
