Pay Code Accrual Impacts for Accrual Tables with an Earnings Method via Payroll

Description of Issue

When an Accrual table uses an earnings method within payroll, how do the Accrual Impacts need to be setup on the pay codes in Pay Master for it to add to their earned time when payroll is processed?

Cause


Resolution
  1. Within Pay Master (Payroll>Payroll Setup>Pay Master) Search for the pay code that should be included to count towards earning accruals.
  2. Click the Impact Accruals Tab. The impact will need to be Add next to any accrual type that should have the hours for that pay code included towards earned time for that accrual.
    1. For example, when pay code 100 is worked in payroll, those hours should count towards Vacation and Sick. The Accrual Impact next to the Vacation and Sick Accrual Types should be Add.
