Calibrate Genus 1 Biometric Reader

Genus 1 biometric reader is not able to identify users.

• Timeclock
• Genus 1
• G1

Biometric reader needs to be calibrated

1. At the clock, flip the switch on the back of the device to Offline Mode (Reference back label for correct positioning)
2. Unplug the power from the clock and plug it back in to reboot the device
3. Wait until Terminal Info? is displayed on the screen
4. Press the Down Arrow key until Biometric Test is displayed
5. Press the E key
6. Press the Down Arrow key until Calibrate Sensor is displayed
7. Press the E key
8. Clock should display Sensor Calibrated once complete
9. Flip the switch on the back of the device to Online Mode (Reference back label for correct positioning)
10. Unplug the power from the clock and plug it back in to reboot the device back to the application mode
