How to use wireshark to capture network data

Unable to connect or communicate with remote server

Network configuration is not allowing communication between servers

1. If wireshark is not already installed, download the latest 64 bit windows version from https://www.wireshark.org/download.html
2. Open command prompt and start a ping to the server you're not able to connect to.
3. launch wireshark
4. double click on Ethernet in the middle of the screen
5. let the capture run for a minute
6. Hit the Stop button on top menu bar
7. Select File > Save As 
8. Provide the saved file to your network admin for troubleshooting
