Error when Entering/Importing a Budget Amendment Transfer - Only Periods between XXXX/XX and XXXX/XX are allowed

Unable to enter or import a Budget Amendment to a future period (beyond the Default Year/Period)

Only periods between Year/Period and Year/Period are allowed

• Budget Transfers and Amendments
• Journal Import Templates
• Import Journals

Permission for Override Accounting Period and Allow Transactions in periods beyond the default were set to 0

To resolve, the user's General Ledger Permissions will need to be updated.

System Administration > Security > User Attributes

1. Search for the User Id
2. Select a role that grants General Ledger Permissions and Edit Role
3. Select the General Ledger folder and Update
4. Change the "Allow transactions in periods beyond the default" permission to allow access to enough periods that a transaction can be entered in the intended Year/Period

Please Note: Updating a Role impacts all users assigned to this Role.
