Reset Personal Property Values

Description of Issue

Personal property values did not reset to $0 after running the initiate bill run.

When I rolled personal property, the assessment did not reset to zero under the values screen.

Cause

The reset valuation box is unchecked on the class code tied to the personal property record.

Resolution
  1. Navigate to Property Revenues > Property Tax Billing > South > Virginia > Setup > Class Codes
  2. Search for the Class Code tied to the personal property record
    • The Property Type will need to be General
  3. Click Update, then check the Reset Valuation box
  4. Click Accept to save changes
