Description of Issue

User is not seeing all basemaps in MapView after upgrading from 2018.1 to 2019.1 (and higher)

Resolution

Due to limitation in Esri toolkit, users can either use the Esri default basemaps or their own basemaps, but not both. 

  • If they are not using MapLink, those basemaps can be removed from the GIS Configuration and then users will have access to the default basemaps.
  • If they are using MapLink, then users will need to keep the basemaps in their GIS Configuration, and will need to add additional basemaps for the additional Esri basemaps they want to make available.
