How to change the type of a work order contact

How to update a work order contact to specify them as a primary contact, supervisor, or resident

Resolution

From Field Work:

  1. Open the work order in Field Work and select Contacts section

  2. On the row for the contact that needs updating, click the three horizontal dots and select Edit

  3. In the Update Work Order Contact pop-up window, select the appropriate checkbox (Primary Contact, Supervisor, or Resident) and click Update

From Work Order Management:

  1. Open the work order in Work Order Management and click Contacts

  2. Scroll through to find the contact that needs updating and click on Update

  3. Select the appropriate checkbox (Primary Contact, Supervisor, or Resident) and click Accept



Additional Information
  • Primary Contact:  There can only be one requesting department and one servicing department primary contact for service or work order requests

  • Supervisor:  This is only an option if Servicing Department is the option selected from the Request Type list.  There can be only one supervisor for each work order.
